Banque Misr earns Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Certificate

Egypt’s Banque Misr became the first bank in Egypt and North Africa to earn the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Certificate (PCI-DSS).

the certificate is  a prestigious  award given to banks that apply international data security standards related to credit and payment cards, providing optimum security for clients ;developed by top financial institutions such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

It is worth mentioning that Control Case / Security-Meter Company, delegated by Visa International to award the certificate, is one of the specialized companies accredited by the Payment Card Industry Security Council. The Company carried out widespread regulatory processes to evaluate Banque Misr’s information networks and to insure that the appropriate international data security standards and requirements were applied.
