Egypt’s trade exchange with France rose 12 percent during the first eight months of 2017, reaching $1.546 billion compared to $1.38 billion last year, Egyptian trade minister said Wednesday.
Egypt’s exports to France also saw a great surge of 21 percent from January to August this year, recording €401 million ($471.2 million) from €332 million last year, Tarek Qabil further said.
The Egyptian minister made these remarks during his meeting with France’s ambassador to Cairo, Stéphane Romatet, where they discussed the future of boosting the economic cooperation between the two countries.
