Ahli United Bank investments in Egypt debt fall to 6.250 bln pounds in six months

Ahli United Bank – Egypt, part of Bahraini Ahli United Bank, says its investments in domestic debt instruments reached 6.250 billion Egyptian pounds ($353.7 million) at the end of June.

The bank’s investments in treasury bills stood at 7.039 billion pounds at the end of 2016.

Loans rose to 20.804 billion pounds at the end of June 2017 from 19.300 billion pounds at the end of 2016. Deposits also grew to 34.386 billion pounds from 33.821 billion pounds.
