Orient Takaful wins Nestlé Egypt’s $150 mln insurance policy tender

Egypt’s Orient Takaful Insurance Company has won a tender to provide insurance cover for Nestlé Egypt’s ice cream factory, chief executive Mohamed Moustafa Abdel Rasoul announced Wednesday.

Nestlé’s policy is with total sum insured of $150 million, equivalent for more than 2.8 billion Egyptian pounds, Abdel Rasoul further told Amwal Al Ghad.

The policy will cover civil liability, cash transfer, and the damages from fire and burglary, he added.
