Egypt’s state-run Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development is implementing power plant in Heliopark City project in New Cairo, said vice chairman Khaled El Marasy on Saturday.
El Marasy further told Amwal Al Ghad that his company is also carrying out water and wastewater treatment stations in the project.
Heliopolis has recently signed a contract with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to install water lines in the city at cost of 170 million Egyptian pounds ($9 million), he added.
El Marasy further said that his company plans to offer investors some land plots for jointly development in Heliopark city under the public-private-sector partnership (PPP) system.
Utilities works on the project will last for one year and half, the Egyptian official concluded.
