Officials in Orange Group met with Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology Yasser El-Kady on Saturday to discuss 4G future plans.
During his meeting with Bruno Mettling, Executive Vice President at Orange-France Telecom, and Jean-Marc Harion, CEO of Orange Egypt, the Egyptian Minister lauded Orange Egypt’s efforts to improve the quality of services it provides to citizens.
El-Kady asserted Egypt’s willingness to create business-friendly environment favorable to investment in all sectors and ICT in particular.
On his part, Bruno Mettling added that Orange Group is up to injecting more investments in Egypt since being one of the most important markets in the region. Notably, Orange Egypt represents 25 percent of the parent company’s business volume in the Middle East and Africa.
