Egypt is officially asking the World Bank Group to update its outlook for the country’s investment climate, Egyptian minister of international cooperation Sahar Nasr announced Monday.
The most recent report the World Bank released on Egypt’s investment outlook was in 2013 in cooperation with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Nasr said.
The Egyptian minister further told reporters in a conference in Cairo that she had already sent an official request to the World Bank, citing several developments and progress the North African country went through since 2013.
