Egypt’s stock market edged higher Sunday with gains worth 748 million Egyptian pounds (US$ 95 million) on Arab and foreigners buying appetite.
The market capitalisation has recorded 422.345 billion pounds during the closing session of Sunday

Egypt’s benchmark index, EGX30 increased 0.57 percent to 6707.66 points.
EGX50 EWI index surged 0.22 percent to 1144.75 point
EGX20 grew 0.10 percent to 6694.97 points.
In addition, the mid- and small-cap index EGX70 hiked 0.62 percent to 366.35 points. The price index, EGX100 pushed up 0.28 percent to 763.09 points.
Turnovers high
On Sunday, the bourse’s trading volume hit 273.349 million securities, with turnovers closed at 726.962 million pounds, exchanged through 17,465 thousand transactions.
Also during the closing session,167 listed securities have been traded in; 54 declined, 64 advanced; while 47 kept their previous levels.
Investors’ Activities
Arab and foreign investors were net sellers on Tuesday seizing getting 2.03 percent and 2.93 percent respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of 2.548 million pounds and 3.960 million pounds, respectively, excluding the deals.
On the contrary, Local investors were net buyers seizing 95.04 percent of the total market, with a net equity of 6.508 million pounds, excluding the deals.
