Emaar Misr annual revenues rise 700% in five years

Emaar Misr’s business results and annual revenues have been boosted by 700 percent within the last five years due to expanding in the Egyptian market, chief marketing officer Nabil Amasha said Monday.

The official made these remarks during Cityscape’s Egypt Real Estate Summit held Monday under the auspices of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development, for the fourth year in a row.

Amasha stated that Emaar Misr had not stopped expanding in the Egyptian market since 25 January revolution in 2011 till now despite the critical conditions it had witnessed.

The official stated that Egypt’s real estate market enjoys a prominent opportunities to grow and owns all key factors to recover in shadows of the large population.

Amasha said that Emaar Misr has evaluated the Egyptian real estate market on long-term to observe the available growth opportunities and challenges facing the market that led the company to expand considerably in the Egyptian market.

The large-scale event will host some 400 decision makers and senior officials to attract local and international stakeholders.

During the two-day summit, the Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouly along with Minister of Investment, Ashraf Salman, and Minister of Supply Khaled Hanafy, plus more than 50 expert speakers representing leading companies and foundations from Egypt and abroad, are expected to review the latest developments of the real estate sector and future strategies adopted by the government to bolster this sector.

The Egypt Real Estate Summit will end at 1 p.m. (11:00 GMT) Wednesday, just ahead of the opening of the Cityscape Egypt Exhibition which will take place from Sept. 16-19 at the Cairo International Convention Centre.

The Summit will run for three days from the 26th March 2013 to the 28th March 2013 at the InterContinental Cairo CityStars Hotel in Cairo, leading into the Cityscape Egypt in association with Next Move Exhibition from 28-31 March 2013 at the Cairo International Convention Centre.
