Petrosafe cleans-up oil spill in Nile’s Assiut

Petroleum Safety and Environmental Services Company (PETROSAFE (has cleaned-up the oil spill occurred Friday from a power plant in the Nile of Assiut, chairman Magdy Fahmy stated Saturday. The company has sent a fighting-pollution team to start survey processes.

The Cabinet has formed a committee of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency, water bodies, police and the Holding Company for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage to follow up the situation.
