Egypt plans to establish a new Smart Village, but this time it will locate in the New Cairo district.
The Smart Villages Development and Management Company will finalise soon its studies to launch a new smart village in Egypt in addition to the existing one that located in the 6th of October city.
In this respect, Adel Danish – Chairman of Smart Villages Co. – referred to current coordination between his company and El Mostakbal for Urban Development, seeking to complete the studies on the new smart village project. The studies are supposed to be completed soon, Danish noted.
Smart Villages Company and El Mostakbal for Urban Development had signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to build the new smart village in Mostakbal City, which is a flagship and largest planned mixed-use development in Egypt’s new Cairo City.
The new smart village in Mostakbal City is set to be similar to its parallel in the 6th of October city, seeking to include the biggest global companies specialised in sectors of communications and information technology in addition to the Financial District in New Cairo.
