An urgent meeting is being held by Egypt’s Premier Ibrahim Mehleb with Ministers of Electricity and Petroleum over recent frequent power outages.

According to the Al-Ahram Arabic news website, PM Mehleb will tackle the country’s energy supplies and reasons behind the regular power outages stricken by the country nowadays.

The details of the meeting will be revealed through a cabinet statement later.

This comes in the wake of growing public anger over the repetitive daily blackouts recently hit nation-wide governorates.
