CCC to return verdict on Zakaria Azmy May 27

Cairo Criminal Court headed by Counselor Beshair Abdelall adjourned till May 27 session for returning a verdict the case of illicit gains, which reached EGP 42.598 million, and in which Zakaria Azmy, the former chief of presidential staff; his wife Bahia Abdel Monem Halewa and her brother Gamal are convicted.

The court heard today the prosecution’s defense and assured that there aren’t any gaps in the case let the defendants protest innocence, but there are documents prove their conviction, that is to protect the Egyptian people and their dignity, rights, public properties. The prosecution called for heavy sentences on the accused.
