Egyptian Telecom Launches HR Grant to Provide Job Opportunities for Youths

The Egyptian Telecom Minister launched its new grant of the specialist training programs in order to develop the human resources and to qualify the graduated youths to be able to train in the latest specialized training programs.

Minister Atef Helmy said the ministry is supporting the program to provide new job opportunities in ICT field  for the graduates as well as serving the Ministry’s plan which it always seeks for the provision of human cadres in order to meet with the business market and the global and Egyptian firms.

The first session kicked off and it will continue for 6 months, the student will obtain an international certificate in specializing field after completing the session, 1125 trainees will benefit across governorates with EGP16 million, around 20% of Upper Egypt’s students will take part  in the session and 50% of Canal cities.

More than 21K youths have joined the program, the new grant has been launched in November 2013 and it includes:

1.   Database Development & Administration

2.   E-Commerce & E-Marketing

3.   Graphics Design & Development

4.   Java Mobile Applications Development

5.   Linux/Unix System Administration

6.   Networking Security and Management

7.   Web Applications Development
