Alaa el-Zoheiry, managing director of Arab Misr Insurance Group – GIG Egypt, said his company succeeded to capture the policyholder of expansion project for sewage in El Gabal El Asfar/ Al-Qalyubiyah/El Khanka with total value up EGP2 billion.
El-Zoheiry has informed Amwal Al Ghad that the policyholder includes the coverage of all contractors’ risks including fire, robberies, and the dangers of installation, construction and malfunction machinery in addition to civil responsibility.
He noted that the policyholder has been issued for Al-Nasr General Contracting Co. which is the Egyptian partner for implementing the sewage plant.
Under the provisions which granted by Construction Authority for Potable Water and Waste Water in Cairo (CAPW) which is the only responsible party for freshwater systems and sewage treatment in Greater Cairo and Alexandria investments.
Al-Nasr General Contracting Co will establish specialist plant regarding the primary and secondary sewage treatments with capacity of 500 K cubic meters of wastewater per day, raising the total daily treatment capacity to 2.5 million cubic meters.
