Egypt bourse has no intentions to halt its activities on Wednesday following the security forces’ move to disperse the protest camps of the deposed president supporters in Cairo, senior sources told Amwal Al Ghad.
Senior sources at the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) have refuted potentials to halt its trading sessions on Wednesday following the security forces’ dispersal move.
Egyptian security forces announced this morning the beginning to break up the two major Cairo protest camps in Rabea and Nahda which support the deposed president Mohamed Morsi.
Moreover, the sources stressed that the EGX sessions will be performed normally without adopting any precautionary procedures on Wednesday.
The Egyptian bourse has already managed to face many previous significant political challenges without taking the decision to halt its sessions, the sources noted.
