Protesters in Morocco have once again taken to the streets across the country to demand reforms and the release of political prisoners in the North African state.
Chanting anti-government slogans, the demonstrators on Sunday slammed police brutality during the March 18 rallies which led to dozens of arrests.
They also called for a fight against corruption and demanded job opportunities.
The nationwide rallies followed violent clashes between peaceful protesters and police in the northeastern city of Taza.
Morocco has been the scene of anti-regime rallies since February last year. King Mohammad VI announced a number of constitutional reforms following the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt. Moroccans, however, demand deeper reforms and further action to contain corruption and unemployment, Press TV reports.
