Amr El-Garhy, Managing Director and CEO of the National Investment Bank, has submitted his resignation to the Egyptian cabinet, as from 31st March 2013.

El-Garhy, in his statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, said he recommended the Egyptian cabinet to appoint Ahmed Al Sayyad, Vice-Chairman of the National Investment Bank, MD for the financing affairs, instead of him; elaborating that his resignation is for personal causes.

El-Garhy has taken over many other positions, like non-executive member in the board of the Arab Contractors Company-Osman Ahmed Osman- by the presidential decree No. 121/2013, which relates to forming new board.

He also had been the Chairman of the Board of the National Investment Bank and the Managing Director as well since 2004.
