The Egyptian exports of the agricultural crops to the Arab countries witnessed a leap in the first quarter of 2013; achieving EGP 2.2 billion, compared to EGP 1.1 billion during the first quarter of 2012.
A reliable source in the Foreign Trade Sector explained to “Amwal Al Ghad” that this value has largely assisted in increasing the Egyptian exports of the agricultural crops in general during the first quarter of 2013.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) acquired the first among the Arab countries that imported the Egyptian agricultural crops, at value of EGP 538 million during the first quarter of 2013, followed by Libya which recorded EGP 383 million, and then Lebanon at value of EGP 266 million.
