EGX: Thursday Official Holiday On Prophet’s Birth Occasion

The Egyptian Exchange management has announced Thursday 24/01/2013 an official holiday on the occasion of Prophet’s birth which occurs in Rabi’ Al-Awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.

The EGX further added in a statement released on Tuesday that it shall resume its trading activities on Sunday; 27/01/2013.
