EGX: Next Tuesday Official Holiday On New Year Beginning

The Egyptian Exchange management announced that Tuesday January 1^st, 2013 is an official holiday on the occasion of the beginning of a new year. The EGX further noted that its sessions shall resume trading on Wednesday January 2^nd, 2013.

It is worth noting that banks in Egypt have made a similar announcement in regard to halting their activities amid the beginning of a new year.
