Turkish women win their first ever VNL gold

Türkiye women’s national volleyball team won its first ever Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on Sunday.

The Turkish national team was led by opposite Melissa Vargas’ 26 points.

The team won the title with a score of 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Each of Middle blocker Eda Erdem Dundar and opposite Ebrar Karakurt added 12 points for Türkiye.

Worth mentioning that the Chinese women’s national team also set its best recorded in the tournament, with the team’s Li Yingying scoring a team-high 21 points.
