Egypt’s Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad announced signing a protocol, furthering Egyptian-Jordanian cooperation in the areas of green investment and environment protection.

The quadripartite-protocol was signed between the Ministry of Environment, Faiyum Governorate, Princess Alia Foundation (PAF) and FOUR PAWS Animal Welfare Foundation.

Being the first of its kind, the protocol promotes promising investment opportunities in Faiyum in natural protectorates. It also boosts fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Jordan in the field of nature preservation.

Jordanian Princess Alia bint al Hussein has arrived in Egypt for a four-day visit to discuss potential environmental investments. Minister Fouad has previously concluded a successful visit to Jordan upon the invitation of the princess.
