EGX30 slides down 0.93% in Mid-trading Session

EGX approximately lost L.E3.7 million as the capital market reached L.E388.781 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 dipped 0.93% to close at 5401.23p. EGX20 dropped 1.13% to close at 6385.81p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 edged down 2.37% to close at 525.65p. Price index EGX100 slide down 1.79% to close at 869.11p.

The market has recorded turnovers of L.E413.133.468 million through a volume of trading amounted to 128.531 million shares for 20.239 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 182 listed securities; 152 down and 22 up while 8 keeping their previous levels.

During Thursday’s early trading, the EGX lost L.E954 million.
