National Bank of Oman (NBO) has signed an agreement with Nawras, to have joint sales and co-branding activities. A formal contract was signed by Salaam al Shaksy, NBO’s CEO and Ross Cormack, CEO, Nawras, in the presence of senior management members from both organisations, at the bank’s headquarters recently.
According to a press release, this agreement will, among other things, set a framework for cooperation and collaboration between NBO and Nawras in harmonising their efforts and resources to introduce new co-branded products, services and promotions that will benefit their mutual customers.
Speaking on the occasion, Shaksy said,
“We are indeed very pleased to further strengthen our relationship with Nawras and work together with them to meet the growing demands of our customers.
“Our collective goal is to have a wider presence all over the sultanate. This co-branding strategy will also enable both, NBO and Nawras, to draw synergies from the strengths of the two brands and their respective service offerings.”
Cormack added, “We are delighted to formalise our mutually beneficial business relationship with NBO. This agreement further strengthens the existing association between National Bank of Oman and Nawras.
“Last year, NBO launched electronic recharge and bill payment services for Nawras customers. We now look forward to jointly introducing various other exciting prospects to benefit our customers”.
