European stocks rallied on Monday as markets around the world make gains following Joe Biden’s U.S. presidential election win and positive vaccine news from Pfizer.
In terms of individual share price action, British food service company Compass leaped more than 40% while British Airways parent IAG surged more than 22% to lead a broad rally for travel stocks on the back of the vaccine news.
Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average soared by more than 1,200 points in pre-market trade stateside, while S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures also traded in positive territory.
