Saudi Telecom Company ( STC ) boosted its alert level and increased technical and service preparations to serve pilgrims, in its continued efforts to provide excellent, high quality services, as the city of Madinah continues to receive pilgrims and prepares for their hospitality.
STC is keen to participate in a viable and effective way, by employing all its resources into this area, considered to be one of the major outlets for pilgrims entering and leaving the Kingdom.
As part of its preparations, STC boosted its network capacity to accommodate more than 7.5 million users, by supporting its network with more than 900 fixed and mobile stations, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted voice and video calling and the ability to send MMS with comfort and ease.
On another note, STC enhanced its stations with the appropriate technologies to provide broadband services and high-speed Internet with speeds up to 42 Mbps, ensuring that pilgrims enjoy browsing the Internet with STC at high speeds.
