Naguib Sawiris lauds Egyptian government response to coronavirus crisis

Business tycoon Naguib Sawiris praised the Egyptian government on Thursday for its efforts to handle the coronavirus crisis.

Sawiris said in a tweet that the government is “professionally unprecedentedly successively handling the coronavirus crisis,” paying a special tribute to Egyptian Minister of Health Hala Zayed.

Earlier this month, Sawiris Foundation, an Egyptian charity linked to business tycoons Naguib, Samih, and Nassef Sawiris, has donated 100 million Egyptian pounds ($6.3 million) to support the country’s fight against coronavirus.
