Nasr City Misdemeanor Court adjourned the trial of Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Abdallah, known as Sheikh “Abou Eslam”, his son Eslam, and Hany Mohamed Yassin Gad Allah until October 14th session. They are charged with religions contempt.
The prosecution has charged them with disdaining Christianity through burning the Holy Bible outside the American Embassy; condemning the anti-Islam film, in addition to that, Abou Eslam confessed of tearing the Holy Bible.
Sheikh Abou Eslam, his son and some of his supporters attended the session this morning in Nasr City Misdemeanor City. The supporters were holding placards that support Sheikh and Islam religion. Abou Eslam, in his statements to media, referred that he defends Muslims and his Islamic faith.
