Dow bounces back from 3-year low as coronavirus rescue bill is close

The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened higher on Tuesday as investors hope U.S. lawmakers were close to an agreement on a new stimulus bill to rescue the economy from the coronavirus pandemic.
Dow went more than 1,300 points higher, or 7.1 percent. The S&P 500 climbed 6.2 percent while the Nasdaq Composite gained 5.7 percent.
