More than 200 key Arab bankers are discussing new ways to support and develop SMEs in a forum to be held by Union of Arab Banks in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan next February.
The forum – Small and Medium Enterprises: The Road to Economic Development and Social Justice – will take place on February 4-5, to discuss a greater role by Arab banks in funding SME sector for economic and social development.
“The forum, which will be held under the sponsorship of Abdelrahman Hassan Abdelrahman – Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan -, will be opened by Hassabo Mohamed Abdel Rahman -Second Vice President of Sudan” stated Mohamed Barakat chairman of UAB.
The forum witnesses the participation of large number of key Arab bankers and banks’ chairmen.
Egypt will take part in the forum strongly to present its efforts to develop the SME sector and the role of Egyptian banks and the Social Fund for Development to finance SME projects.
