151 new Covid-19 cases, 19 deaths reported in Egypt on Sunday

Egypt registered 151 new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases on Sunday bringing the total infection tally to 99,863 since the outbreak began in February, according to a health ministry statement.

The ministry also reported 19 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the coronavirus to 5,530.

The statement said 900 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 78,108.
